JB on nexus has killed my radio ond wifi

Awful is all I can say. I loose wifi 30 times in an hour work out at the gym. Before jb maybe once. Found similar experience on my family walk with the dog. Just about done with Samsung and their ****ty radios and speakers.

My radios have improved. Did you try a factory reset?

Your phone should not be dropping data that many times after the JB update.

There are also a lot of JB roms out there for the GNex; each one behaves differently. The support from the dev community as well as seasoned users is awesome for this phone. I'm assuming you are running the VZW stock JB that just released. I know this can be very frustrating for you. There will probably be other suggestions coming your way.

My recommendation to flash to bone stock would be the last resort if all other attempts fail. Also VZW has been going crazy opening more LTE markets lately; that issue right there could be part of the problem.

Yes running stock JB update that came to me on Saturday Morning. Been in 4G area for over a year. The WIFI is even worse than 4g or 3g about dropping the signal.

vzw had me do a factory reset and still no signal in the home .....1 to 2 bars at most will have a follow up convo with vzw to see where I can go from here tomorrow maybe sg3 maybe another nexus well see I'm talking to a teir 2 tech specialist if that matters at all idk on his capabilities on approving that or not

Hmm still having trouble with your unit huh jared? Maybe try another Nexus if it doesn't work. Like I said, the new JB radios made this phone even better than it already was for me. I mean I get signal in areas I never did before so don't know what to tell you guys.

Sorry to hear that your signal strength did not improve. My DROID X died after the GB OTA update so I feel your pain. If you have had no luck going to the SG3 (yet) you probably will have to play the 3-5 CLN replacements until the next option is available. It also depends on how long you have been a VZW customer. My 10 plus years with them was great leverage tool for me. Just play the game and you should be happy in the end.
