In the settings you can raise it past 40%.

I have to change my answer not much change with speaker boost and went to 60%

Yeah, it still doesn't work for me. Maybe I'm missing a setting or something but there isn't really much to set. Even boosted to 100% and no increase. Oh well.

I was using Equalizer by SA Labs but after update to JB, it doesn't work. I miss my louder volume. Thx.

You can try DSP Mananger; works for all roms. Use CM10 or TWRP Recovery to install zip file. Very robust app.

Its not a miracle loud speaker but there is definitly an increase using it. YMMV but sitting next to the wifes phone you could tell a difference.

I've really liked the volume + app. I guess I will just hold out until the developer figures out how to make it jive with Jellybean. Don't suppose it will take him too long to figure it out.
