now verizon is officially late on galaxy nexus 4.1 update

Seems that the ota is now out, but this is a nexus! Unlock the bootloader and root it and flash roms!!! I've been having jelly bean since June! I've learned since i've had my droid 2 global that vzw pretty much neglects its phones and takes waaaaaaaay too damn long with updates.

But hey it could be worse. There are phones that are just bearly getting ics, which is what we came stock with almost a year ago.

I tried the "clear data" trick like last time, but no go.

Can you refresh my memory of the 'clear data' trick... it worked for me but I can't recall how I did it :P I'm going home for lunch today so I can try it there on WiFi and see if I get it to work.
