    Hide file with .nomedia doesn't work

    I have a .nomedia file in my download folder but all the files still show in the gallery. Is this supposed to work with ICS or is there another method? Thanks.

    It still works on mine although I don't use it. I prefer to use .directoryname.

    I had the same problem. Just make sure the .nomedia file is in the directory prior to adding pictures to it. If it's not the first file in the directory it seems to be ignored.
    This is my droid...
    There are many like it but this one is mine...
