About LinkBacksI'm on stock 4.0.4 and sound will only play out of the ear speaker and not the rear speaker. I'm almost certain that it worked after I flashed the new OS. Any ideas on what might be causing this issue?

03-31-2012 11:55 PMI am having this exact issue now. I flashed a new ROM, and since that time, sound has not worked properly. Flashed other ROMs to make sure it wasn't isolated to that ROM, sound still not working. Restored everything to stock; relocked OEM; still not working; going to try a factory reset per a suggestion from another forum. How long did you pull the battery for when you resolved it via your method?

04-18-2012 10:38 AMThere is an issue with a lot of Galaxy Nexus where the OS thinks the headphone is being plugged in and unplugged on its own. Try this free application to resolve it:
