inverted screen rendering on browser? worth it?

Has anyone tried this setting on the browser? It inverts black and white on webpages. So what would normally be a white screen with black lettering is now a black screen with white lettering. Figure this would save some battery life with our amoled screens. I doubt this is practical as it would seem to be more annoying than its worth but I just thought I would ask if anyone out there is doing it.

Oh man I can feel a headache coming just thinking about that... Reminds of me the terrible, terrible website designs of the 90's...

Haha, I just viewed this thread in inverted mode. It actually isn't all that bad. It makes everything in grayscale, so images look bad, but don't hurt your eyes. Forums are actually very easy to read and much easier on your eyes. I might actually use it if I am doing a lot of reading on my phone's browser. Battery savings will be quite considerable as 90% if not more of the screen is black.
