Text message 'drafts' wont go away.

I've noticed that anytime I start typing a text message and don't send it then back out of messaging, that auto-saved 'draft' can't be deleted until I type and send a new message to that person. Well I can delete it, but after leaving messaging and coming back, the draft will be back too. I can repeat it 100% of the time.

Anyone else have this issue?

I had a draft stuck once. I exited the app and then go back and delete everything in the text box, even if there was nothing I hit delete and the draft would be gone.

I've noticed that when typing a text message, if for some reason I decide not to send it, or want to change the message entirely, the easiest way is to hold the delete key until the whole message disappears. If your phone has a physical keyboard (sorry, forgot to see where this is posted before replying using the phone app), an easier way is to hold the 'ALT' key, then press the backspace key until the message is gone. As far as i know, this is the only way of getting rid of a draft message without sending it.

This is what I have found as well...must delete the text within the message and then the draft resolves itself...

But that's the problem, I do delete all the text and the draft remains. It will be gone right away, but as soon as I reopen the messaging app the draft returns. Happens 100% of the time for me. Only way i have found to get rid of it is to delete the entire thread or send a new message to that recipient.
