Not looking for themed applications but favorite apps

I'm probably posting this in the wrong spot sorry but when I went under the apps section I didn't see anything about favorite apps for the Galaxy Nexus.

Can I have some suggestions? I heard there are a lot of cool new apps specifically designed for this phone.

I'm not sure about apps specifically designed for the GNex, but here's my favorite apps:

Is there a free version of root explorer? I see a couple of different apps that look similar.

I use ES fike explorer instead of root explorer. It too uses root access, plus has LAN access, task manager, backups, ftp, etc.

Other favorites of mine are:
Dolphin HD
Handcent
Better terminal emulator pro
Busybox
Enhanced sms and caller ID
