About LinkBacksI have been charging my phone with the USB cable (that came with the phone) for the past 4 hours and I'm only at 35%. I'm not playing with the phone, not calling, not texting, not doing anything on the phone.
Anyone else experiencing longer than normal USB charge times?

12-19-2011 02:57 PMUSB always charge slow as its only 1v.. plug it to the wall and you get higher voltage and faster charging. Its standard.

I don't know the exact numbers, but it is around half power -

12-19-2011 03:00 PMI was under the assumption that USB was always outputting roughly 5V. The charger is roughly 5V as well. The only thing I can see that might affect it is the amps? Also, I didn't bring my charger to work, lol.

12-19-2011 03:12 PMUSB charges at 500 milliamps. The wall charger charges at 1 amp. The amperage is the amount of power going to whatever is plugged in. So charging via USB you will only get half the amount of power going to your battery as you would if you were using the wall charger and therefore it will take roughly twice as long to charge your battery via USB.
