I think those two would be very safe bets to match my concerns. LTE is still getting bugs worked out, and that I won't attribute to the Nexus, that's across the LTE line. It's getting there, but still having some issues. And the battery life, I agree. That's a really big screen to power.Quote:

This is a brand new phone, with a essentially a brand new OS, problems occur on every phone, I think it's a good thing to see them addressing these issues early.
If it ends up having the same LTE connectivity problems that the Razr/Rezound/Bionic have, then we'll know it's Verizon's network and not the phone's problem.
As for battery issues, it's going to suck a battery dry, we already know that. So I'd get your extra battery ready, or plan on turning off 4G when at home/office.
Like I said, take it for what you will. I'm basing my constant adjustments comment on talking with the Nexus testers in the field.
I've had a colleague with the Nexus under an NDA, so he's been filling me in quietly over the last few weeks. There's been 3 updates in the last 2 weeks, so I'm assuming those are the adjustments you're talking about, but updates are updates, they occur with every phone prior to release. I don't see those as bad things, as I said, it's Google's new OS, they're going to be updating it until the second the phones released.

Believe me, I really want the phone to release as close to glitch free as possible. Otherwise, the boards are going to blow up. Well, more than they already have. :D
I've traveled from L.A to Austin via car last weekend and have watched different areas drop 4G, 3G, data at different stops (where 4G was available) I'm now in Austin and I have to say coverage has been PERFECT. No dropped data yet 4G to 3G hand off has been excellent.Quote:

I'm convinced it's Verizons LTE network based on my travels. Nexus WILL have it's issues with the same thing and it will burn through battery something fierce in some areas. Every phone until mid 2012 will probably suffer the same issues. It all depends where you live and until the network and tech matures people will just have to deal with it.
I hate to bring Apple into the mix but there's a reason they haven't gone LTE. It's just not there yet.
