+1 most stores and drive through food chains have those. I would say at least 80%...

I've been reading that zero shutter lag and panoramic photo is an ICS feature, so if that's true when Rezound gets ICS shutter lag is no longer deciding factor.

Shutter lag is a mix of software and hardware. Meaning, the GN has zero lag but the rezound will.

A lot of people are bringing up negatives about sense. Wouldn't a custom rom alleviate all these problems? So a de-sensed rezound would be pretty sweet right?

I'm just curious what the difference is between waving your card at the machine or swiping it? Also until my all my identification is digitally on my phone, I'll be carrying a wallet anyway. I guess I just don't see the need for NFC. Any other uses you guys can think of? I'm just trying to decide between the GNex and the Rezound.

NFC is limitless really, the things app devs will dream up should be pretty interesting.

The "paypass" deal you see at the card terminals are big everywhere but the US. My bank had a card like that and for whatever reason, they ditched all the cards and issued new ones. If the chip on the card can be read by someone walking by with equipment, you are in danger.

As to the zero shutter lag... I played with a rezound today at the VZW store and as soon as I pressed the button the camera took a photo. I don't know how it gets better than that??

I also noticed that the headphones had a button on them to answer a call... So I guess that means there is a built in mic in the headphones so you can talk on the phone without holding that damn thing to your head??? For me this is huge.

I also played with moving the screens and rotating everything. I don't know what the "Sense" is in the phone but I really liked how it worked. No lag at all...

I'm waiting for a week, but if the Nexus isn't out by next Friday I'm buying the Rezound. Its a sweet phone.

BTW, local VZW place said on Black Friday they may be having some special deals, including some of the new phones. Wondering if it was just that one location, or all VZW stores.

It does lag. Put it up against aosp ...it lags. It may not be that noticeable to you, but it annoys me to no end.

I'm kind of leaning towards rezound, now. I was wondering this very same question.

Besides more dev support, nfc, and no shutter lag, are there any other reason to buy nexus?
