Help with settings app

Alright, so I rooted my GNex with this tutorial Tutorial to Root Galaxy Nexus CDMA Version | Android Advices
It all seemed to be working fine until I tried to change my ringtone. When I open settings and click on sound I get a message saying that settings has stopped. So, two things, how do I make settings not FC and how do I set a custom ringtone?

First thing to do is to reboot your phone and see if that helps.

1. I don't know what cwr is.
2. Tried reboot, no effect.

CWR is clockwork recovery... it will search for any misplaced permissions and correct them, they can cause apps to force close.

You can use ringdroid to create and set custom ringtones, but that may not work until you have the fc figured out.

I put it in recovery and waited for it to fix. Rebooted, same problem.

Try going to Settings > Apps > All > Settings and Clear data then see if it still force closes.

Tried that, still no luck. Probably going to unroot and try again.
