I've gone through the instructions for Part 1 at least 20 times now. Instead of seeing "Mobile ADB Device" as mentioned, I'm seeing "Android ADB Interface". When I enter "adb devices" in the CMD prompt, this is the message it says ADB is not recognized. I'm running 32 Bit Windows 7.

Is this rooting in the same way I used motocache's (Root Droid 1 - regardless of OS version )write up to root my OG Droid. Will I be rooted and able to run all the fun root apps, but I don't have to do all the "flashing ROM" stuff everyone is always talking about. I always just considered it a generic stock root on my OG.
My first smartphone was a Droid 1. Then I found the Nexus... Galaxy Nexus LTE unlocked & rooted...
