Any photos of GN Dock in the wild?

    Hi Everyone,

I have not seen any photos of the Docks I have heard about. Did a car dock not get released with the GSM version of the phone? Will the LTE version be different due to size?

I'm interested in this, too. I like docks. Car or desk dock, btw.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus Docks and Chargers Get a Proper Fondling, Prongs Put to Use

“He doesn’t know how to use the 3 sea shells.” – Demolition Man
Been wondering what the 3 metal prongs on the side of the Galaxy Nexus will be used for? We assumed accessories, but thanks to a series of videos out of MobileFun, we get to see exactly how those accessories will put those prongs to work. A new landscape desktop dock is featured along with a battery charger for those of us that are forced to carry backups because of LTE’s never ending thirst for juice. The portrait and car docks are also featured, which according to our sources, are expected to be at $59.99 and $39.99 respectively.

    Portrait HDMI dock:

Whats the difference between the horizontal dock and the vertical dock. I can see that the vert is the HDMI dock but does it do HDMI out to TV or something? if so, can it do sound output too? I really prefer the horizontal one (first one) and was reading the comments on a different page for these videos. Some comments said sound is capable via those 3 (for lack of the technical term) charging dots on the side. is this true!?

The car dock for the verizon phones doesn't have any of the charging/audio goodness of the one in the video. It's just a holder with a opening in the end for the USB and audio cords to plug in. You also have to plug in the phone after inserting it into the dock, and unplug to remove. LAME. My OG Droid can go in and out of the dock while plugged in. There also seems to be no car mode or indication that you've inserted the phone into the car dock. Really? For $40?

From what I've seen the horizontal dock has micro usb and 3.5 jack. The vertical has hdmi, micro usb and 3.5 jack (I think). I know the main diff is the hdmi on the vert.

I just got off the phone with Samsung and I asked the rep to ask his manager if Samsung has plans to release a vehicle dock with the charging port and sound, and I was told they are not. That there is pretty much it for me. I am not getting the Nexus.
