I have the CM10.1 ROM installed on my Maxx and I can't seem to be able to charge my Verizon billing account inside the play store.. Any ideas? Could I be missing a setting somewhere?

I recently purchased a new RAZR HD MAXX (off contract) which has Android 4.1.2. Everything is great - except audio from Google Music (or a podcast app) frequently skips/stutters.

Typically its when playback starts for about the first minute, but frequently has small skips through out the duration of playback. Doesn't seem to matter if I am playing the audio to a bluetooth device or using the stereo line-out.

Has anyone had this problem? Any tips to resolve it?

Would hate to have to go through the return/exchange process with VZW :mad:

My phone is really slow and sluggish. It feels like a computer when its running with the CPU at 100%. When I press the home screen from any app it takes about 2 seconds to go to the home screen and the apps on the screen take a couple of seconds to appear. I downloaded an app to check the CPU usage and it shows 100% on both CPUs. Sometimes I have to turn off the phone just to make it better but after a few minutes it goes back being slow. Another problem is that when I type something, the words take a while to appear on the screen after I typed them. So what can I do? It seems that my sister in law's RAZR HD is the same way because she is always complaining on how slow it is. Also how can I get rid of the annoying reloading of Google chrome when I exit it and come back to it? Because it doesn't even refresh the page. Thanks!

Hey I just remembered I had an account here. Anyways got a new phone a few months ago...and I am pretty sure I have the maxx hd but just want to make sure.

Apologies in advance if this is a duplicate thread, but I'd like to disable as many services as I can on my RMHD, as many have a habit of starting on their own. Trouble is, I'm not sure which ones are critical to processes I actually use - i.e. I use Google Now and Swype, but not Backup Manager or Mobile Hotspot - the apps do not have obvious names, so I"m not sure which ones I'm actually using/need to keep.

Could someone help me understand what the various "helper" apps do, and which ones I might need to keep? Is there a web page for these?

So currently I'm on a galaxy nexus but when I make calls at work I'm getting either a lot of lag, bad interference, or it picks up everything in the background. I'm wondering if a RAZR maxx hd is better when it comes to making actual phone calls.

If I delete emails on my phone, they don't show up on my phone but the number of new emails is still there. And they are not deleted from my account. The emails still show on my computer.

Any ideas how to fix? Sync is on.

I set up a screen lock on my phone because I was calling people while I was putting back the phone in my case or sometimes when I stuck in in my trousers.Now I want to remove it and I can't.
I followed the directions but on my phone it does not say NONE in the security section.
It says select one of the following: None ,Slide,Face unlock,Pattern,Pin or Password.
On my phone it doesn't show NONE.

What is special about the dock's micro-USB that automatically triggers car mode in the Droid Razr Maxx HD?

Lately my friend has been telling me that he hasn't been getting my long messages in their entirety. I realize there's a 160 character limit on texts, but I thought it just separated them. However my friend says he keeps not getting them. This has been going on for at least a month or so, and he has an iPhone 5. Has anyone else been having this issue?

Did anyone else have this issue before? Sometimes I'll get a phone call and when I try to answer it, the screen is not responding to my finger trying to unlock it. I have to press power to turn off the screen, the press power again to turn it on and then I can answer it.

I've had this issue with original ICS, with stock JB 4.1.1, stock 4.1.2 and 4.1.2 Rage HD rom. Pretty much every software version on this phone I've had this issue. Yesterday my wife tried to answer my phone cause I was driving and it happened to her as well.

Under Settings, Display, Sleep Inactivity....it is set for 15 seconds.

When I reset this to one minute and exit, it returns to 15 seconds. How do I get this setting to stay at what it is set to?

So I'm gonna tale the a step away from the Motorola/droid platform of android and jump ship to the Samsung galaxy s4 . Seems more refined and more options to customize and accesoriez more so then what Motorola has been offering. I mean d1 d2 and the X was new stuff but it just seems they give as little as possible in their phones but just enough to sell. Anyone got interesting info to pull me back from doing so ?

I have had my speaker for about 6 months and have used it with my old phone RAZR and also an Ipad. I am now having trouble paring it with my RAZR HD. The phone does not reognize the speaker & the speaker does not recognize the phone. Anyone have any thoughts?
