I am having volume problems but just the opposite all my volume are stuck on mute except alarms I have done a miner reboot and it fixed the problem but now its happened again. I didn't install anything. All my items have a line going through them it will let me increase my ring volume on the volume screen but when I let that screen when I got back the ringer volume it back to mute. Help!!

I recently upgraded to a Galaxy S3. Given the amount of space I have on it (32GB SD card), I wanted to move my music from my 30GB Zune (ok, you can stop laughing now... ;) ) to my phone. However, I've been having a heck of a time finding a sync app that will do everything I need. Most will get music onto the device and mostly retain id3 tags (title, cover art, etc.), but their all missing one key element for me.

Specifically, I'm looking for an app that, while syncing music to my S3, will convert MP3 files to 128 kb/s. Most of my music files were ripped at 320 kb/s. This is great for listening on my desktop and retaining a higher fidelity, but not good for conserving storage space. Both iTunes and Zune software have the option to convert on the fly to a smaller file size when syncing to their respective portable devices. So far, I have yet to find an app for Droid that will do the same thing.

If anyone has suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hey there new to the forum n the razr m n this may he a dumb question. I downloaded a bunch of music n of course every one has the longest jumble of letters for a file name. Now I know I can change them as I have already done so but is there any way to have them show that way in the music player? As of now my playlists show the original file names n idk what any of I this. Please n thanks for any n all help. Drivin me nuts!

My wife has a Droid 3 running stock Android 2.3.4. My X2 is running stock 2.3.5. She recently recorded a couple videos that I wanted on my phone. I copied them to my PC (where they play fine with Windows media player) and then copied them to my X2. They won't play. I get a message saying "this file cannot be displayed" or something like that. I have a couple videos I have taken with my phone that play just fine.

Any idea why an .mp4 created on a Droid 3 will not play on a Droid X2? Or what I can do to get them to play on the X2?

My phone music/sound is always slow motion help please !

I have been using the default android music player ever since i have had an android phone. I had an .m4a song that i wanted to listen to and the default player would not play it. I downloaded rocket player, and it played just fine. BUT i did not like the layout of rocket player as much as what i was used to so i deleted it thinking i could just go back to the default music player..well i was mistaken. Now there is no music player on my phone. The default one is gone. There is still the Google play music app but i have had it disabled for quite some time. So now if i try and open even a simple .mp3, my phone has no idea what to do with it. What i am looking for is the default simple music player back. Is there any way to fix this issue? or do i need to do a factory reset. There is an "android music player" on the play store but funny enough it is on there by the same people that make rocket player, and every time you launch that app it tells you about rocket player.....
