I recently added a new ringtone to use for my text messages and successfully changed it. However when I receive a text, it plays my ringtone of choice, but it is quickly interrupted by the annoying "DROID" sound. I've tried changing EVERY sound from notifications to my ringtone of choice but it still does it. Changed my texting and notification ringtone to this and still every single time I get "DROID" interrupting it. I've tried searching the forums and only found one similar post but somebody asked a question and nobody else ever posted a fix. I asked in the RAZR forums and nobody responded so I'm trying here now. Any help would be appreciated.

I made the mistake of using rom manager to install CWM instead of using bootstrap and everything is messed up. The super user app is installed but every app I try to use that requires root access tells me there is an error and I do not actually have root access. I tried using Pete's Motorola Root Tools to remove unroot the phone but it gives me an error that says "ERROR: adb could not be granted root access."

I want to remove CWM and unroot the phone and start over fresh with everything factory. How can I do this?

My device searches, but can't find any connections. Desktop software installed with no error messages.

Also, since I setup Motocast with this device, whenever my laptop is on, Motocast is syncing in the background, eating up battery. Does it take a day or two to complete the sync if you have 80GB of music and photos on your hard drive? Anyone to control this other than by killing the process?
