Most conversion tools work great for if you want to convert a movie once in a while, but if you have a lot of movies and TV shows to convert, they require you to work through the program's steps for each of your movies. Some have the capability of batch conversions, but you still have to set-up each conversion manually.

It looks at the resolution of your video and it looks at the actual movie, and adjusts the conversion settings on-the-fly to make sure that you end up with the best looking video quality possible without wasting a lot of file space.
