Added a new contact and cannot fingd it in my address book

From time to time I have added new contacts and saved them.
When I try to recall them by name they dont appear in my Contacts
But if that same contact calls .It is displayed on the screen.Yet I can find them in my Contacts.

When you go to create a contact, It should pop up with an option of which account to store the new contact on.. Select the one you want.(It should display your Gmail account, and your "Phone" account, or Backup Assistant) If that does not show up, go to Contacts setting > Contact storage and change it to whichever account you wish. Once that is completed, Go to your contacts screen and press the menu button, then select Display Options. Scroll down, and make sure that whatever account you saved your contacts to is selected to display. Hopefully that fixes it.
