[ROOT] Framaroot, a one-click .apk to root
I have verified it works with these Motorola devices running android 2.3.4
Droid 2 (a955), Droid 2 Global (a956), R2D2 (a957), & Droid X (MB810)

Zergrush is soo simple, look it up and try. Let us know how it goes.

zergrush should be simple, but it didn't work for me, nor Pete's that I have used before
that's why I suggest ezSBF with zergrush, worked for me
must be some glitch on my commuter, and ezSBF runs on Linux boot disc

I did zergrush today I must have done something wrong as it didn't work.I did all the steps and you are suppose to see a yellow screan,no yellow screan.Have any ideas?
Mer.
No yellow screen. When you have the zergrush.zip folder on your desktop, extract all and the run.me will be on of the extracted programs, open it, plug phone into PC, make sure its on charge only, USB debugging on and should have the screen timed out for 10 minutes. Also make sure unknown sources is checked in application settings. Press spacebar once all is connect and everythings ready. Program should be telling you somthing like sending 149 zerglings so forth ect. Phone will reboot and you should have superuser app installed in your apps. Bam, your rooted. Then you need to insert the recovery.apk on your SD. Install it from files, and your ready to flash ROM's. Hope this helps.
