I turned my phone on while I was charging it up and it's stuck on the DROID screen with the lens and hasn't changed in a while. What is wrong and what do I need to do to fix this?

unplug it, pull the battery. leave it out for a few minutes then try again. if that doesn't do it you will want to try getting into recovery and doing a factory data reset.

Thank you, but I'll need to pull off the cover to get it off, so it might take a while.

Had this same issue the other day, only thing that fixed it was a factory reset. Then a day later while changing batteries the phone claimed all my Motorola batteries were invalid and refused to charge them.
