Help with rooting my droid x2!!!

Okay so here's the deal. i had my phone rooted for awhile using gingerbreak, and everything was gravy. Buuut then i started getting the notification to update to 2.3.3, i ignored it for awhile because i knew i probably shouldn't cuz it may cause problems... Well, i ended up doing it one night when i was coming home from the bar. anyway i have been trying to re root but i can't seem to get it to work i have tried a couple different things i couldn't really explain i just followed some step by step directions. Basically i was wondering if anyone had done something similiar to me as far as updating while rooted? and if they have figured out how to root with the new update or if there is a way to go back to the previous version. also i am using a mac, but i do have parallels with xp so if i have to have windows to do it it is feasible.. i have always had an iphone and i like the droid rooted much better so i am hoping you guys can help.

any input would be greatly appreciated thanks so much!!

    Start here: http://www.droidforums.net/forum/dro...tructions.html

Essentially, there is no way to root the GB build in place. You will need to flash you phone back to the Froyo SBF file, then flash a pre-rooted version of the GB update file. Team Black Hat has an app ($2.99) that is said to have a one-step solution for this. Just search for AIO Installer (all-in-one), and you should find some threads on it.

EDIT: well there is now. :-/
