    Angry droid x not recognized by laptop

    I connected my droid x to my laptop via the usb cable. My laptop will not recognize the droid x. I've checked the debugging box and still it is not recognized. Any help to resolve will be greatly appreciaed. thanks in advance.

    Turn debugging off. Then cycle thru all the connection options, pc mode, sync mode etc. It should auto install the drivers. Check in your device manager, I usually found it under portable devices, then right click to update driver.

    thank you. I did what you suggested, but, nothing. I still cant get the X to install nor will it charge my phone. Whats funny is that when I plugged my wifes X in, using the same cable, hers attempted to install and charges. What can be so different between our phones?
