    Bluetooth keeps turning itself on

    DroidX with 2.2 installed

    The bluetooth gremlin inhabits my phone. I turn bluetooth off. A few minutes later, it turns itself back on.

    Maddening.

    Help?

    Could be rogue app settings doing it.

    I was using an app to send messages to growl if i got a text message, and it had options about turning on bluetooth if it wasn't already on. But it wouldn't turn it off after "notifying."

    Bluetooth Still Turning On (when it shouldn't)

    Darn gremlin still infecting my DroidX. Have checked all possible nooks and crannies of my Droid and still, still, still my bluetooth keeps turning itself back on, usually about 3-5 minutes after I turn it off.

    Anyone out there have a suggestion?

    Mine does the exact same thing, but with the wifi instead of the bluetooth.
