Or do I have to convert to a MP4 first? I would assume Video TS would work considering thats what HTC uses for their Transformers 1 and 2 formats

You will need to convert your videos to MP4 -- I recommend Handbrake.

And once they're converted, anywhere on the SD card will work -- I have a folder called "Videos"

Whats a usual ETA for handbrake to convert?

I dont know if its just this slow cpu but i'm only moving 6.23fps lol
ETA's saying 9 Hours?? That normal?

Usually I get 50+ fps, videos usually convert in less than 65% of the time it takes to watch them. This is on quad-core computers.

I've never done VideoTS conversion though. 9 hours seems like awhile though. There's gotta be something wrong with your conversion settings.

First...why in the world would you want to move entire TS folders over? Thats a complete waste of time and space when its much easier and less space eating by converting to H.264 MP4 format. Great quality and great compression at 1/3 the filesize!

Rip your DVD, then open it in Handbrake and set the encoder to H.264...you can use the iPod Touch presets if you want to make it easier on yourself. Depending on what your PC specs are, and "average" encode time should be under 2 hours depending on the filesize output setting and whether or not you do a single pass or double pass convert.

I personally use single pass and set my conversions to 500-700mb filesize, and so far have had no issues...

    Yea, thanks.

After comming back and reading this thread I notice how newb I sounded lol

I went and did some reading up in the Dvd/video section and went to purchase the Dvd Catalyst 3. Way easier, I am now converting to mp4 in less than 40 mins...

    Appriciate the advice
