Touch screen delay after Froyo update

Hi, I'm new to this site, looking for some help.
I couldn't find the thread about this, if someone else
posted similar topic, please kindly direct me there.

I updated my X to froyo when it was released.
Now, my touch screen is somewhat less responsive.
It's like there's a fraction of second delayed when I'm
scrolling the screen up/down and left/right.

I put my finger on the screen and sweep across
the screen, the screen follows like 0.2 second late
than what it was used to be in 2.1.

Does someone experience this too or it's just my imagination?

Is there any option to calibrate the screen?

    Thanks in advance

For me I just had to reboot a few times and then it went away.
(noticed this when I did the leaked 2.2 and had all my apps installed).

When I went back to 2.1 (full wipe even sd card) then upgraded straight to 2.2 I did not have this lag.
So, I think it just has to do with the phone getting everything in order... especially when you have apps installed.

This opinion is worth what you paid for it..

Oh, thanks for the quick reply. So wiping out SD card and rebooting might fix the problem, right? I'm gonna first try rebooting couple of times and see if this goes away.

Yeah, just reboot a few times and see how it is.

    That should help you out.

If you do decide to wipe your sd card (factory reset) be sure to back everything up using titanium or whatever method you prefer so that you can start putting things back on one at a time.
