Google Contacts: Email, not Phone # showing up

I've seen various posts of similar issues, but haven't been able to find a resolution to my particular issue so I'm hoping you folks have the answer. I have a Droid X, the first one I had no issues with until the bottom buttons stopped working, so I'm on my second. All of my accounts (Gmail, Work, etc) are correctly added to the phone, but with my Google (Gmail) account, I cannot get my contacts to sync correctly.

Only those contacts in Google with an email address and phone number display, but those that are strictly phone numbers do not show up in the Droid. I've trued resyncing, removing/re-adding the Google account but no luck.
