    Disable Voice Command?

    I would like to completely disable voice command (I never use it anyway).

    Without rooting the phone...is this possible?

    I would like to disable the voice commands that start when home is pressed twice or when the microphone on the swype keyboard is pressed.

    I don't want to disable the voice search.

    I launch the voice commands by accident too often with the microphone on the keyboard and most of the time I want to scream waiting for them to load just so I can close them.

    Not sure what you mean by Voice Command. There are three types of uses for speech recognition in Android
    Voice Search - results in a Google search
    Voice Actions - results in some action, like placing a call
    Voice Input - results in entry of text in a field through voice command

    Currently there is no way to disable these.

    Well, if the phone were able to do what I say each time I accidentally press that microphone icon... well, it sure would be interesting.
