If a phone rings and it's not an Android, does anyone care?
Thanks Sydman, will do. Will that move (or copy, either is fine) existing google contacts into the phone, or will it just work from here on out?
Just from there on.

I work at a small verizon store and have seen these issues, if the store is using a Cellebrite machine you should use a motorola devour as the target phone instead of the generic pda android cdma option, it messed up 1 of my customers contacts and wouldn't sync to gmail, then I wiped and used devour instead and everything worked fine and synced correctly.

Well maybe I'll swing by a Verizon store later on unless someone has a better idea. This morning I tried to follow the directions Sydman gave me last night but when I open contacts there is no option for "more" that I can see... or maybe I just don't know what the hell I'm doing... quite possible.
<<dammit I'm such a noob - I found this topic through search and I just realized this is the Droid X tech forum, not the Droid tech forum - that might be a slight issue! back to the drawing board, sorry for wasting your time Sydman and Fluxxy.>>
