About LinkBacksHey folks,
I just bought a Droid X for $60 on eBay listed as "mint condition," except for a software issue. Evidently, the phone has an issue with contacts. Seller says you can not add or delete conacts. Has anyone heard of this? Can I fix it with an SBF? I have plenty of expperience with my Droid 2. I feel that if I can fix that, I got the phone for a steal.

02-14-2012 11:11 AMUsing RSD_Lite 5.6, bootloader 30.03, I could not get past the "Error downloading RAM..." error described at sbf keeps failing. I tried the suggestions in the forum, and it still would not work. Interestingly enough, I managed to get a Froyo SBF to work, but it would not detect a Software Update, so I tried to SBF to .602. I got to .602 even though the error still persisted in RSD Lite, but the System Update (I assume to .605) failed, and I was unable to detect it again. I'm thinking I should probably install the 30.04 bootloader to resolve these issues, but I'm rooted and running Liberty 3 just fine now. I just don't look forward to my next SBF on this thing given how the first one went

02-15-2012 10:02 AMAnother update: updated bootloader to 30.04, and flashed .602 perfectly. Took the OTA to .605 and am back on Liberty3.
