Recovering deleted pics and/or video from my Droid X

My little brother somehow got a hold of my phone and deleted like 8 pictures(or more) AND a few videos. I have browsed forums talking about apps that may be able to find these deleted files, 1 being "un-delete (beta)" however after downloading and installing it ato-closed with a message box that read [SORRY BUT YOUR DEVICE ISN'T ROOTED]. I am a computer tech so I can understand direction but I don't pretend to know this whole "hacking" scene but am eager to learn from you MASTERS!

Please help me with this as those files were very important to me. I would love to restore these files as painlessly as possible but I am willing to purchase or download any app that will work and being that you all seem so knowledgeable, I figured this would be a great place to start. I also have the capability to take the MicroSD storage card out of phone and into my PC (Windows 7) if this is a better course for me to go. In fact, I would even bring the phone to Verizon tech support if thay can do it but I hate going there as I'm sure many of you feel the same way but thats how much I want to recover these files!!! Thank you guys and gals.

I have a Droid X running Version 2.3.3 and it is def a stock phone. I have a 32GB MicroSD card that is being used in the phone and I believe that's where the Vid/Pics would have been saved but they could have been just stored locally.

I had the same problem. I did a search for an undelete program, may have gotten it from Cnet or maybe tucows, I don't really remember which one but it was a trial program, got all the pictures back from my MicroSD card with no problem. Give me a second and I'll see if I can find the post about this........

Seagate Windows file recovery works 95% of the time. Just download a trail version or go to torrents to dl it. Insert your sd card into a usb flash drive and recover it.

You can recover deleted pictures from memory card by using photo recovery software.
When i am facing same problem i have used photo recovery software and i get back all deleted
photos. It recovers all photos within few minutes. Now you can download demo version
