    app issues

    Ever since I updated my DROID X, I haven't been able to update current apps or download new apps. I don't think my phone is rooted, and I have no idea what a friggin gingerbread is.
    The download bar keeps going and going. The action is never completed.
    Please help me before I throw this stupid thing through through a window. Thank.is!

    try clearing the system cache

    How-to: Clear system cache on Droid X & X2

    if that doesn't work you might want to try a factory reset (same process, but you choose Factory Reset instead of clear cache), a lot of times when people update without doing that they run into problems. If you do a factory reset you'll lose anything you don't have on the SD Card so backup anything you don't want to risk not getting back
