Issue installing 4.5 update - any ideas?

Ok, I just picked up my droid x (screen (not digitizer) somehow broke on my d2g). It was running I think 4.3, which isn't the most current. The most current has a keyboard swipe update I would like.

I can grab the update and everythig, but it consistently fails.

Things to know:
phone is rooted with the data cable easy root.

Phone is flashed to cricket, complete flash

Titanium backup is installed and I have uninstalled multiple "VZW" apps that have no use to me.

Am I going to have to sbf back to factory to get this to update?

Oh, the update downloads without problems, even goes to the update screen after reboot, then reboots and loads the os and states "update failed"

ya... you'll have to sbf... as removing bloat... aka... stock apps... makes it so you can't install updates... they'll download fine... but wont install as your seeing

Well it isn't that important. just has some keyboard updates I think would benefit me. Unless there is stuff included that I don't know about.

no... that's pretty much it... so i haven't seen a reason to actually flash 605... i've stayed with 602... and i even flashed icx... which says it's a 605 rom... and had no problem...
