if you mean app updates, just uncheck update automatically for all your apps in the market -

10-12-2011 05:12 PMI'm talking about System updates; I would like to choose my own time to install, if I even want them at all. I can not find a setting to control this.

10-12-2011 05:17 PMIf the update downloads, use Root Explorer to remove it from /cache. Like was said you must be rooted.

10-12-2011 05:20 PMyou are on the most recent system version, so at the very least you shouldn't have to worry about another update soon. to prevent it from happening at all, you must be rooted. if you want to go back to the old version, use this guide: Complete Droid X .sbf Flashing Guide Originally Posted by AquariumMermaid
