About LinkBacksI just tried to upgrade from rooted Froyo to GB. Now when I turn the phone on it shows the red logo and then a bootloader screen but nothing else.
any ideas on if I can fix it or what to do?

10-10-2011 12:26 AMIf it goes starlight to bootloader, then you will have to SBF. Seems like you might've used the wrong files to update. Let me link you....

Just use the latest SBF and it should get you on GB. -

10-10-2011 12:36 AMNothing risky about it. Verizon store would do the same. If you were trying to hack it and bricked it yourself, then please don't return it or try to get a new one. We take responsibility when we choose to hack our devices.

10-11-2011 02:46 AMJust finished SBFing the phone. It installed much faster than I thought, about 5 minutes. The phone turned on and prompted me to activate it. Seems ok. Thanks to Droid-Xer for the link to the SBF tutorial, it was much faster and smoother than I anticipated it would be.
