com.motorola.service.main is KILLING my battery 62% usage!!

I find that on days when my battery dies within 4 hours, the culprit is either com.motorola.service.main or a similar service of motorola contacts.
Right now, service.main is using 63% of my battery life and the battery gets very hot, even tho the display is off. Other days, contacts does. Other days, all is normal and the battery lasts all day.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


I am getting so tired of fighting with this phone. I loved it for a year, thought it was the best phone ever, until GB!! I don't want to have to abandon android for an iphone, I like my flash! Getting closer every day if they can't fix these battery issues. I need a phone that functions, not dies unexpectedly!

Got email from moto support tech.
THis is what he suggested:

Remove all accounts except gmail. Turn phone off for 30 seconds.
Restart, then add back accounts. *this is not so much fun, but much better than a full factory reset again*

Update phone with *228 option 2

He also suggested the following battery management app.

I did these things this morning AND....

It is now 7:35 pm and my phone hasn't been plugged in since this morning, gotten more calls than usual, lots of emails (of course with reinstalling all my accounts again)... and my battery is around 2/3 full!!!

Under battery usage, voice calls and display are back on top where they belong, YEA

We will see over the next few days if it stays working well again...
