Delete the app. Go into root explorer and go to system/bin and delete the hijack file. Next delete the logwrapper file and rename the logwrapper.bin file to logwrapper. Should be good.

I followed the same steps and it didn't work for me. Must have some reminants of clockwork hidden somewhere. Only thing I can figure out is it must have something to do with the boot logos and animation I flashed through cw.

Its telling me I cannot rename or delete these files because they are "read-only" files

Are you still rooted? Dont think you can remove bootstrap without root. Root explorer needs to have superuser rights. Im sure someone with more knowledge will chime in in a few.

Temporary or permanent root? Not sure if z4 matters. I am using it without any problems. Are you using root explorer?

I see one step missing. If your using root explorer, after the system/bin step you need to tap the mount r/w tab at the top right. Then proceed with the rest of the steps.
