    SBF'ing .340

Hey guys, I slapped my phone into RSDLite and it says my current software version is 340SHADOW_BP_C_01.09.07P.

I originally installed maderstcok's .340 update zip and am currently running Rubix 2.0.1 on the phone. I need to SBF back to stock .340 to install the new Gingerbread leaks.

    I downloaded this VRZ_MB810_2.3.34_1FF_01.sbf from:
New Full SBF for Droid X - 2.3.340

Any who, I'm assuming I should be good to SBF using this file correct?

    Thanks.

Really? I've been posting around MDW and they say I can't go into GB without a stock SBF.

Could you let me know your whole process steps?

I'm really trying to avoid an SBF but they all agreed and pointed to me it's not possible.

Hahaha dang I was hoping you'd make it haha. Heres my instructions I'm given:

    1. SBF
    2. Root
    3. Install Droid2 Bootstrapper

Once that's done, follow this instruction on getting your phone to GB .588:
New DROIDX Gingerbread 4.5.588 Rooted - Droid Life: A Droid Community Blog

From there, you can go to MDW and download their .595 build, and flash that through recovery, here's a link for it with more details:
New Leak and Official upgrade Path to Gingerbread

Let me know how this goes for you. I have to wait til tomorrow morning when I'm free to do this. Good luck!

I think going from .573 is the same as going from Froyo, you're still going to have to do the three step install process.

Having some problems with Sbfing...yes I did watch the videos...yes i did read everything I could hereat my droid world....So I have downloaded, Rsdlite, both 4.9 and 4.8 to try both...have downloaded every possible option of .340 file I can find...so here is my problem when I attempt to SBF

Plug phone in...find the file...push start...it immediately says failed.

    or

Plug phone in...find the file...and it won't let me push start, start button is just grayed out...

You're in the bootloader right? The phone is showing up in rsd lite? If yes to both, try it on a different pc. What system are you on (xp, win 7)?
