I have a stock Droid X with System Version 2.3.15.MB810.Verizon.en.US and Android version 2.2, along with the stock browser that comes with the phone. I upgraded to the latest version of Flash player from the Android Market and also added Adobe Air (also from the Android Market).
Now for the reason for my thread title - I like to visit news sites on the Internet and play videos that are linked on the respective news site. The only problem is that the resolution of the videos has changed dramatically for the worse. At full screen resolution, the video is not viewable (totally distorted). And at 'normal' resolution (accessed from the settings button), the video is postage-stamp size.
Any thoughts on how to resolve would be much appreciated. When I first purchased the Droid X, the videos displayed fine in full screen resolution. But now, due to something being changed, videos are basically a joke. I tried a search using video resolution as the search term, but no joy.
Thanks in advance to all who respond.
