So, I can't send any pictures via text (I can recieve, tho). I am not rooted, just installed the new update (which didn't help the problem at all)... When I try sending it just waits a few minutes, then gives me the "national coverage" error message (which the verizon rep told me is basically a generic error which means nothing) and the text fails.
Non-picture texts send fine.
I've tried the usual rebooting and battery pull, which doesn't help. Spent an hour on the phone with Verizon, and they tried resetting my account, etc. - no dice.
Now I have a support ticket open with verizon, but while I'm waiting, thought I'd check in here. It seems unlikely that I'm the only one with this problem, but I haven't been able to find anyone else with it on this forum.

12-13-2010 12:29 AMNever had any problems sending MMS with Pictures. My X automatically resizes the picture so it can be sent.

12-13-2010 12:44 AMDid some browsing online and just as I thought it is most likely a problem with your account. Something might have been accidentally changed.
I suggest that you go to Verizon and have them look over your account info to make sure that you can receive texts on your phone line.New to android or just need to brush up on the basics? Abe has every thing you need Here:

12-13-2010 12:45 AMThanks for the reply quicksilver. Unfortunately, I've already been through that with the verizon rep. She double-checked my account, reset my picture messaging capabilities and then finally reset my entire account. No go.
