    Yeah, sorry, forgot to say that. I'm a bit foggy from my meds so the occasional thing slips out.

    As long as you have Sync turned on you wont' lost your contacts. If you back up your texts you can save them to the SD card and restore them after you update.

    only way to get rid of something like that is flash the proper SBF bc its not where the factory reset reaches

    ur original post says ur having trouble getting the update (ie ur not on OTA 2.2 yet). so thats NOT the SBF to use.

    that article i linked u to is not something to skim. need to read the whole thing and understand what WILL happen if u use the wrong SBF

    not trying to be rude, just trying to prevent u from breaking ur phone
