I hooked up a different phone because the DX was freezing.
it doesn't need to be hooked up to the network in order to flash that file. if it can be booted up and then booted in to clockwork recover from the bootstrap app then you just need to place the .zip on the sd card.

if that doesn't work for some reason then we can move on to sbf flashing but i don't think you'll need to.

Okay it says to make a backup and what do I make a backup of and how? I'm so sorry I never should have let anyone touch my phone :icon_ nono2:
you don't really need to make a backup. especially considering that you wouldn't want to restore the phone in this state.
How do I get it on my sd card I thought I had it in the right place but don't see it after following the steps in clockwork.
