Ota update error

This is a discussion on Ota update error within the Droid X Roms forums, part of the Droid X Forum category; Im on froyo n try to update to 605 but it keeps failing never had that problem b4 I can just use my linux cd ...

    Ota update error

    Im on froyo n try to update to 605 but it keeps failing never had that problem b4 I can just use my linux cd for 602 but I don't know why it wont do ota ne advice

    I think otas are progressive, so you'd have to go to 2.3.340 then to .605. If I'm wrong please higher ups do not flame me lol

    Wait... 2.3.340 is froyo, wow I thought it was gb I will be flamed for that lol

    Even still you can use a .602 disc, but not ota to .605 that would point to it being progressive. So maybe theirs hope for me after all lol
    besides 605 is a keyboard fix, I don't know if its a stand alone update or not.
