Hokay, next up is Liberty 3 2.0. This rom is a GB rom based on Motorola Blur and AOSP apps. It looks mostly AOSP, but uses Motorola's framework and hardware libs. This makes the rom very stable, with everything working 100%. This is about as complete a rom as anybody could ask for. Unfortunately since this isn't a 2nd-init rom, we probably won't see many major new features beyond what the stock rom was already capable of. No fancy Cyanogenmod or MIUI stuff. It does have a nice toolbox app that lets you do overclocking and change many performance oriented settings under the hood. JRummy also has a collection of apps in the market that expands upon the features of the toolbox. Battery life is better than average, but seems like it goes down faster since it does have 1% battery level increments. HDMI works!

    Benchmarks

    Quadrant: 1872
    NeoCore: 42.84
    NenaMark1: 22.98
    NenaMark2: did not run
    Vellamo: 489
    Linpack: 16.1972
    Passmark: System 987, CPU 1303, Disk 2503, Memory 1044, 2D 819, 3D 469

Seems to be significantly slower in a few benchmarks. Specifically Vellamo shows that MIUI ICS probably will render web pages faster. The GUI interactions still seem fast so despite the benchmarks, you may not notice a difference performance wise.

    Apex 2.0 RC4

This rom is a .602 GB rom that uses AOSP apps for the most part with Blur elements and Motorola's hardware stack. This means that all of the hardware works as expected and battery life is good. It performs very similarly to Liberty in the benchmarks and is just as stable. There really isn't much to this rom so if you like simplicity, this is it. Personally, unless you hate the color yellow, there really isn't much of a reason to use this over Liberty since liberty has some handy features like hardware toggles in the notification drawer, custom power menu, 1% battery increments, toolbox, etc.

Overall a good rom with decent performance. Benchmarks show it to be neck and neck with Liberty.
