    Cyanmod7 help

    I've never been able to run this rom I need help so do I need a laptop to do this if so I need step by step cause I don't know bout mirrors from what I'm ready its like the Linux CDs I've made to flash back to stock 340 r 596 r 602 so can I do it like CD so ill have it all the time please help I really want to try this rom lol thanks n advance

    Looks like Leftspin and JSM were helping you on another thread... I'm not really sure what else to say. Did you follow the link JSM posted? That should explain.
    Are you on the froyo kernel? You should just be able to flash it if you are.

    Mirrors are simply another host for downloading. I'm not really sure what you were referring to in regard to mirrors.

    follow this guide to get back to stock .340: Complete Droid X .sbf Flashing Guide
    download the latest CM7 nightly: CyanogenMod Mirror Network - Powered by TDRevolution
    re root using z4root
    install ROM Manager and the Droid 2 Bootstrap
    Flash CWM, bootstrap, reboot into recovery
    wipe data/cache/dalvik
    install the CM7 zip
