    Confused by rooting GB instructions

    Hi all,

    I'm trying to follow this guide to getting the latest rooted GB on my phone. I currently have 2.3.340 (Froyo) and just successfully completed z4root. Since I'm not currently running a leaked GB like the first part of the guide demands, I went to the part that starts with "Patched update.zip (not signed)". When I clicked on the first mirror, however, it sends me to a download for Blur_Version.2.3.340.MB810.Ve... .zip. Isn't that what I already have? Am I reading the instructions wrong? If someone could help be get a deoxed .596 ROM, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

    dont worry about the file name. it's the right one for you to use. it's confusing, but just follow the instructions and you'll be fine.

    Thanks! I just used D2 bootstrapper to install both parts of the update file. The last messages were "Install II Complete" and "You must install all parts before leaving recovery".

    Am I done? My options are:

    apply sdcard:update.zip
    choose zip from sdcard
    toggle signature verification
    toggle script asserts

    What do I do to finish?

    yes, you're done.
    hit the back button and choose "reboot phone now" option.
