About LinkBacksI'm really interested in installing this Darkside Rom but im reading where I need to be running 2.3. Where can I find this 2.3 update so I can run this ROM?

Droid X software version 2.3.340 is actually Android software version 2.2
Go to Settings -> About Phone -> Build Number and let us know what it says.
Motorola was rather silly in their build version numbering scheme. All three of their released Droid X versions start with 2.3, your phone has either Motorola build 2.3.15, 2.3.320, or hopefully 2.3.340.
There is also a Motorola Blur 3.4.2 ROM that someone leaked, but I personally can't recommend it.

03-13-2011 07:33 PMThe only "system" I see under "about phone" is system tutorial. Now under kernel version it is 2.6.32.9
