    UD for DX dead?

    Is UD for the DX dead? I haven't heard anything about it for a while and now that CVPCS isn't working on Obsidian anymore (over at CM now)... has the full AOSP rom been given up on?

    Nope. There is a new team known as the phoenix devs of devs you probably know/have heard of: MattG4542, Drod2169, Birdman, RobSternem, and tanknspank. They're all working on gingerbread now...

    blackdroid says that DX is coming. Time will tell. Seeing as the DX is his personal phone, I tend to believe him.

    And the Phoenix guys have taken over cvpcs' work, yes. MattG4542 of that team released Cobalt 1.0, an AOSP ROM based from cvpcs' code, for the Droid X previously, so I believe he has a vested interest in the DX.
