He said he is working on more themes. I personally love Revo but it would be nice to have colored in icons like darkslide does but def no logo over the keyboard lol. Maybe blue or red themed instead of green... dunno.

Is it just me or the graphics on the standby locked screen a bit blurry? Also, anyone knows why I have two galleries and an extra mototorch in the appdrawer?

Great work nonetheless. Thanks vet much.

You have an extra mototorch because you didn't follow instructions

As for the gallery, because there are multiple choices in ApeX, installing the theme resets the configuration back to default. But if you enabled the other choices (as opposed to default), it doesn't know that, and you have two copies.

All you need to do is just run the scripts again to get your configuration back.

    Hope that clears things up

Thanks. I meant to say i now have the mototorch which i dont think i had before. as for "instructions", i am pretty sure i uninstall google search and market in manage applications every time before i went to recovery reboot.... did i miss something?

what scripts do i have to run to fix these 2 things....?

    thanks a lot again.

ahh, thought you meant you had two mototorches, because the instruction was to uninstall it if you had it installed

Just use the gallery script to choose the one you want. Type:

    su
    gallery -aosp (for 3d)
    gallery -mot (for stock gallery)

Mototorch is pretty handy, but if you wan to uninstall it:

    su
    uninstall MotoTorch.apk

For future reference, every script is in the first post of the ROM and you can type them without appending a suffix in order to see all the options.

Additionally, REVOlutionBLU is now available in the first post. Take a look if you're interested!

I'm really lovin this rom, Apex Focused 1.0.2.2 is awesome! Apparently if you use Sephtin's black bar mod for Rubix focused, it says focused on the lock screen and in the shade. LOL, I thought that was just in the focussed rom, oh well.

That's because if you load his black bar mod for Rubix Focused it changes the script to say "rubix focused" instead of "Verizon Wireless". Easy enough to change with a hex editor, mine says Apex V1.2.1 because that is what it is. You can make it say anything you want that is 16 characters long or less including spaces. Only branding left on my phone (boot logo and animation changed too) is physically on the phone and I wish someone would make a screen cover with blackouts for the Verizon and Motorola logos to totally de-badge the thing.

It isn't Apex Focused btw lol, just Apex.

I also wanted my lockscreen to have the stock "offcenter" look. The files you're looking for are all the files that start with "keyguard" in framework-res.apk's res/layout/ folder. If you see them and their modification date is 4/15/2008, then those are the centered ones. If the modification date is 2/28/2008, then they're the off-center ones, which you want. You can download a few roms or the stock froyo rom to look for the offcenter ones, and extract them out.

Getting them onto your phone can be done in a few ways (first you have to locate the 2/28/2008 files and get ahold of them). When you have them, you have to put them into a framework-res.apk file and then get that file onto your phone. The tricky part is using the correct framework-res.apk. If you're using a certain theme, you have to use that theme's framework-res.apk, otherwise when you put it onto your phone you'll have big problems. If you're not using a theme, you have to use your rom's framework-res.apk, otherwise you will have big problems.

Probably the easiest way for most people is to simply download the theme they want or the theme they're currently using, then open up the zip and navigate to /system/framework/framework/framework-res.apk (open with winrar), then within that navigate to res/layout/ and then drag the files right into it (it'll ask you if you want to update the package, say yes). Then put that entire theme onto your SD card and flash it like you normally would from recovery.

What I did instead was just copied my framework-res.apk from my phone's /system/framework/ folder onto my sd card, opened it on my comp and dragged the files in to update it (see above), then copied it back to my phone's /system/framework/ folder and rebooted.

Keep in mind anytime you reflash a theme or rom, that theme or rom will default the lockscreen orientation back to what it is in the theme or rom.

It sounds a lot more complicated than it is... lol
