    Have I bricked my phone?

    Hi all-

I feel like I did my homework on SBFing back to stock 2.2 and followed all the steps in the following link:

All-One-Guide to Rooting, Deodexing, and Installing a Custom ROM/Theme (And How to Unbrick Droid X) - Android Forums

Now my phone is stuck at the red eye and is flashing between that and Motorolla.

I already had 2.2 ota before I rooted. Can anyone offer any guidance on what may have happened? The last message from RSD lite was 100% complete, please manually power up phone.

Do a Factory Reset / Data Wipe.

Shut down.... Hold Home... Power up while holding home.... when Droid w/ ? comes up.... release Home and click the Search button.

You'll be in factory recovery and can do the factory reset.

I haven't had to SBF myself but have read a bit on it. I don't think if your getting as far as looping between the 2 that you are bricked. And SBF'ing is suppose to help a bricked phone, not brick it.

What version of SBF were you using? And did you shut it down after it said "100%?" Or did it reboot automatically?
